Lincoln Elementary is continuing the proud tradition of serving a special Thanksgiving Lunch for our students. This event is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to join their child(ren) during an extended lunch time, where a special Thanksgiving lunch is served: turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and pumpkin pie

The Lincoln Parent-Staff Group supports this event by coordinating parent-volunteers to help serve and assist the kitchen staff in accepting the normal lunchroom fee. The cost for adults ($2.90) and students/children ($1.95) goes directly back to the Lincoln lunchroom. If you're planning to attend, please return the RSVP slip sent home on the flyer, with total adults and non-Lincoln kids (Lincoln kids are already counted), and return back to school by Friday Nov. 9.

Lunch Schedule

Below is the schedule of when classes will take their lunch for this special occasion. Lunches are normally 20 minutes, however for this Thanksgiving lunch, the time is extended into the recess time. We have set up 3 blocks of 1hr Volunteer Server slots. We need 6 volunteers for each 1-hr block, for a total of 18 available slots for volunteers. 

We need servers to be present 15 minutes prior to the students rolling in for lunch (give or take). Please sign up for a shift either before/after your child's normal lunch time. OR, if this is not doable/possible, you MAY sign up for the shift closest to your child(ren)'s normal lunch time and just leave us a comment that you will duck out to sit with your child at their lunch time. The volunteer slots are not perfect, but we would much rather have you there for any amount of time you can offer, over not being able to help at all. Thank you!
